Noiice Fish

I thought I would post a couple photos from last year. The first is a beautiful, wild rainbow trout of about 21" that I caught on the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River just outside of Seattle, WA. The second a thick native steelhead I caught on the Klickitat River in Washington state also.

Looking forward to another terrific year of fly fishing in 2011.

Fiberglass Manifesto

Cameron over at The Fiberglass Manifesto just sent me a cool new T-Shirt and some stickers. Here is a photo of my grandfathers fly boxes and reel...an appropriate backdrop for one of the stickers. My mom recently dug out this photo from the archives...taken way before I started practicing catch and release. The squaretail on the right matches my trousers perfectly.

Fishy Kid

Yesterday we had an awesome conversation with Cameron of Fishy Kid. Fishy Kid is an organization inspired by two fathers who enjoy the sport of fly fishing and want to do their part in passing along the virtues of the outdoors to children and families in the angling community. Yakima River Clean Up
