Orca Network

What do orca whales and fishermen have in common? They both enjoy catching salmon. While lots anglers practice catch and release, Orca whales do not. In fact, 80% of their diet consists of chinook salmon. The native chinook population, which has been decimated on the Columbia and Snake River sytems in Washington State, has a direct effect in the decline of the orca population in the Pacific Northwest.
